Running Into… Lele Saveri

Lele’s a friendly photographer from Italy with a well worn mustache and can roll a damn good spliff. He just retured from the motherland and seems happy to be back in NY. Check out his work at his website.

Colin and Jake in South Africa

Currently stationed over there working on top secret awesomeness, they had a second to break away from work and check out one of the World Cup games. I’m not jeleous. Nah. Nope….
Tonight at SummerScreen

While you sit, eating, drinking, waiting for the Peter Gabriel song to come on and for your friends you’re saving space for the show, you’ll also be entertained by the Sundelles, at 6:15, and Sisters, at 7:15. Pretty much everything you like about living here will be happening at Summerscreen tomorrow night. See you there!

Keep cool the Brooklyn way…

Ok not sure if you noticed, but its hot outside. Really hot. It´s like in ¨Do the Right Thing¨when every conversation starts with, ¨man its hot!¨ So for runners this can obviously be a dangerous thing. What is one to do other than bring a bottle of water to pour over your head every so often right? Sure you can carry around your super cool camel backback, but even that might be unbareable on ones shoulders in this heat. Well here´s one solution… run in Brooklyn. Less traffic, more trees, and best of all fire hydrants spewing water everywhere. Run in Brooklyn, keep cool, don´t die. Peace.
