London Rosiere, Bridgerunner since ‘06
Meet London Rosiere, og bridgerunner since 06. She Finished the New Orleans Mardi Gras Marathon today, which records her @ 6 marathons + 3 half marathons in 17 months. She’s a non-runner marathon runner. Good work London!

The Canadian Women’s Hockey team beat the USA and celebrated by getting drunk on the ice. Apparently, the International Olympic Committee is not too stoked on their little ‘icecaped’. I think it’s a well deserved celebration!

By now, everyone and their mother has seen the latest inspiring commercial by Nike. With their sequence of failures and successes, the video brings the reality of becoming a champion athlete. Accompanied with an amazingly motivational song by The Hours, the video makes me wanna challenge the limits of my own abilites and just give a big “Fuck you” to barriers, hopefully it does for you too. OBJECTS THAT LOVE YOU BACK Opening «
Went to this exhibition opening this past Saturday over at 211 Elizabeth. The show featured “Destroyer” and young gun art beast, Lucien Marc Smith, along with a slew of other talented artist. Some obscure, some extremely well established. ( Jeff Koons & Kiki Smith ) While there I bumped into fellow Bridgerunner and artist Jack Greer, saw the infamous Arab Parrot leanin, and a slew of honey’s lookin extra good for the low key opening. YUENGS, WINGS, and AMERICA!!
Last night America defeated the colossas of a hockey country, team Canada. With some of the best pro’s playing on their side, representing their home dirt, this game could have easily been a great upset for USA. But nope, why would America want to allow Canada to win their national sport in their own Vancouver Olympics. Not happening. So last night my Pittsburgian roomates an I rallied up for USA with a proper serving of hot wings and four different kinda of Yeunglings in a glorious brodown that led to an entertaining victory. Thanks for the first goal Crosby, enjoy the awkward return to America. Hah!

Meet Matt Lenski
Meet Matt Lenski. He’s a director working out of New York who has worked with artists such as The Virgins, Fall Out Boy, and Rogue Wave. You may recognize his name from his contribution to 25th Hour as “Lucky 13” in the 24 Hour run. His most recent video was done for Get Busy Committee. A Valentine relevent tune called “I Don’t Care About You.” So we asked him a bit about his thoughts on running, and his work.
“I’m addicted to running and to nyc. So Bridge Runners is the perfect fit. Every run is like a mini new york adventure. When I run through the city I feel like I am 3000 feet above looking down. Loving all of its beautiful claustraphobia.
This video has the same jam packed feel. 8 million sparkling points stuttering together. Clumsy and stunning. Imagine the ultimate Hip Hop Video with all of it’s inherent swagger– Cash, Jewelry, Gangsters, Girls, Cars, Champagne. Albeit achieved through animated gifs and Myspace Styled Glitter Graphics.”
